There is nothing worse than being so busy at work and not able to share regularly on this blog :(
But... today is the day I catch up and over Easter am determined to schedule my layouts for publishing. Wish me luck!!
First up is the March 22 sketch for Sketches in Thyme
I created a 8.5x11 layout with the sketch, and used some fabulous Michelle Grant for Colour Blast Australia papers.
The next share is the Moodboard challenge at The Studio Challenges from March 24
And my example:
Absolutely loved how this one turned out
And the final share for March is my layout for Scrap Plezier
I used the new Kaisercraft Breathe collection to create this layout.
I printed 4 2x3 photos of my great niece Lucy, and decided to keep the layout fairly simple.
I adhered the photo and then took a round dinner plate and lightly traced a circle. I used a 1 and 1 / 8th inch circle punch and punched circles from quite a few sheets of the 6.5x6.5 paper pad. I added some more circles from the Collectibles pack and that cut page from the paper pad.
I adhered them about my traced circle, adding the larger diecuts for definition. I then overlapped the circles in 3 places, and added 3 buttons.
I embossed my chipboard title in Ranger Navy embossing powder and heat set it.
I finished the layout by adding some punched butterflies and a phrase strip from the Breathe sticker book.

April Challenges
The April challenge at Off the Rails Scrapbooking Facebook Group this month is Boys!!
I am sharing some Travellers Notebook layouts on my boys with you all. These layouts could all be adapted for larger sizes. I used washi tape, stamps, stickers from a number of manufacturers across all the layouts
If you arent already joining in the challenges, head on over to the Facebook Group and check it all out
My April 6 layout for Scrap Plezier was created using the gorgeous Midnight Collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studios:
I cut a 4x6 photo down a bit so I could use 3 4x6 pieces of patterned paper as layers.
I wanted to keep the design simple and uncluttered to showcase the picture. I added a doily between layers and finished off with stickers, chipboard and a flair button as embellishments.
The title was created using Pink Fresh Studios puffy alphabet stickers.
And whilst at Scrap Plezier, the April 10 Inspired by Colour challenge was divine:
Be still my beating heart!!
And my creation - again using a photo of my great niece - I hope you arent tired of seeing her
The Studio Challenges sketch for April 7 was a beauty:
