Turtle Soup Saturday All Sorts Challenge

Hello my friends,

I have been AWOL for a couple of weeks due to computer and internet issues, but I think everything has been sorted now and I am back :)

Today over at Turtle Soup, it is my turn to provide the Saturday All Sorts Challenge.  And here it is:

The above are some tags I created whilst practicing mixed media backgrounds. I then added bits and pieces of stickers, wood veneer, chipboard, sequins, leaves and a button. Close ups: [/img] [img] [/img] Mixed media can be anything you want it to be. You can use washi, paper strips, catalogue pages, paper napkins or tissue paper to collage a background. Or you can paint with acrylics or watercolours and then stamp over the top. You can add various embellishments like buttons, cogs, metal words, chipboard, lace and ribbon and cover with gesso then spray with colour. The options are endless. My challenge to you all this scrapping Saturday is to create a tag or 2 or 3, using some type of mixed media and upload to the Gallery and link back here. I plan to use each one of these tags on a layout in the near future. I am really looking forward to what you call come up with  Sooo, what do you think?  Ready to have a go?  You could win a prize for participating in this challenge.
